Privacy
Policy

Your privacy is part of your protection. This policy explains how NilApps handles information when you use Security Alarm – AntiTheft (the “App”).

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Information the App handles

The App handles only the information needed to provide its security, purchase, advertising, backup, and communication features.

Intruder photos

If you enable photo capture and grant camera access, supported protection modes can capture photos when an alarm event occurs.

Settings and activity

The App stores protection preferences, purchase status, passcode-related settings, and security event history needed to provide its features.

Device signals

Motion, charging, audio-route, proximity, and app-state signals may be processed on your device to operate protection modes.

Local storage & authentication

Captured photos, event history, and protection settings remain on your device unless you choose an optional sharing or iCloud backup action.

Face ID and Touch ID authentication is performed by iOS. NilApps does not receive or store your face, fingerprint, or biometric template. Your App passcode is stored securely on the device and is not sent to NilApps.

Local by default. Sensitive security content is not automatically uploaded to NilApps.

Optional iCloud backup

If you use Secure iCloud Backup, the items you select are stored in your private iCloud database under your Apple account. Backups may include intruder photos and their dates or protection mode, Notify event history, and protection settings. NilApps does not use these backups for advertising.

iCloud processing is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. You can manage the App’s iCloud data from your Apple account and device settings.

Apple Privacy Policy

Advertising & consent

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interactions, and diagnostics to provide, measure, prevent fraud in, and—where you permit—personalize ads.

Where required, the App asks for advertising consent and Apple’s tracking permission before requesting eligible ads. You can review available advertising choices from Settings → Privacy Choices. Purchasing Remove Ads stops ad requests from the App.

Google Privacy Policy

Notifications & purchases

Version updates

If you opt in, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging process a device token so the App can send version-update notifications. You can turn this off in the App or iOS Settings.

In-app purchases

Apple processes purchases and provides the App with product and entitlement information needed to unlock features. NilApps does not receive your full payment-card details.

Information you choose to share

When you use Feedback, Share This App, or another system share action, you choose the content and destination. That information is handled by the selected mail, messaging, social, or other service under its own privacy terms. The App does not automatically upload your captured photos through these actions.

Retention & security

Local photos and event history remain until you delete them, the App removes them as part of a documented cleanup feature, or you delete the App and its data. Purchase records are retained by Apple. Notification tokens remain until you opt out or the token is replaced or deleted. Optional iCloud backups remain in your iCloud account until removed through available Apple account controls.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices & rights

You can deny or revoke camera, notifications, tracking, Bluetooth, and other available permissions in iOS Settings. You can delete saved intruder photos and event history in the App, or remove the App and its local data from your device.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and NilApps does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, our practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App where appropriate.
